Learner Drivers - Useful Resources

As a learner driver it can be tough when you first start practising on the road, however, there are a surprisingly large number of online resources that you can turn to for help.

Let's take a quick look at what's available:

DirectGov’s Practice Theory Tests

When I was learning to drive… not too long ago I happened across this excellent little resource.

Other than the Theory test book and the Highway Code these little tests are probably the next best resource you have available to you. More importantly they’re free and easy to use and they replicate the actual theory test quite well. The only thing missing is the “Hazard Perception” part… which brings me on to the next one on the list. Hazard Perception Tests

Believe it or not you can actually access free hazard perception tests online rather than spend out your hard-earned money on a DVD or software.

By using you can access these hazard perception tests free of charge and there are a total of 16 mock tests you can choose from. Extremely useful if you need to save a bit of money.

Other useful learner driver resources
